Here's something Russian aircraft fans have been waiting for: an Su-33 Flanker! This is an exciting new kit from Hasegawa, and includes an even higher level of detail than we've seen in many of their 1/72 jet kits! The cockpit tub and instrument panel feature raised switches and dial details, while decals are included as well. Actual molded details on the consoles and panel are a welcome addition! Intakes and exhausts are appropriately deep, the landing gear is beautfully detailed, and we are given a wealth of armament including four rocket pods, four R-27R missiles, two R-77 missiles, two R-60 missiles, four R-73 missiles and two R-27ET missiles.

Originally released in 'Idol Master' markings (linked below), this version of the Su-33 Flanker D features realistic operational markings for four aircraft: two with a tiger head insignia on the tail and two with a swooping sea eagle.
